i have a theory that rio is everything behind the witches road. billy’s created the road through a hex? nah, rio has created it and has lured who she needs there, there (we still do not know who the who is). rewatch agatha’s reaction as the door appears and she enters the witches road, and also her reaction to rio appearing after they summoned a green witch, with this in mind … i agree with the theories that suggest agatha and rio created the ‘idea’ of the road to collect their power and bodies respectively - alternatively, i believe it may have been solely agatha who created this lie, but rio knew about it, which would mean if rio has created the road, it’s a massive f you to agatha - a very interesting point to remember when rewatching the above scenes i mentioned.

day 13: redemption

for as long you live, you are never going to forgive yourself for leaving your sister behind. there is no part of you that can fully accept that it wasn't on purpose, because that's not the point.

the point is that it happened. your mother's last instruction was to keep powder safe, vander's last words were to take care of her, and that day, when powder needed you, you weren't there. you ran away, and then you disappeared for the better part of a decade and let everyone think you were dead, and now you've let her run off gods know where and taken a job hunting her down like an animal. there's no fixing that.

today, though, you are there. you- well, caitlyn, really- finally found her, and she's so close. you are so, so close. you put on your show, call out the wrong name, take a couple poorly-aimed swings at her, make it look convincing. she's mad- mad enough to shoot, which surprises you, but fine, she doesn't hit anyone, so things are going well.

what you don't expect is for caitlyn to be just as angry. you see her adjust the gun out of the corner of your eye. you've gotten really good at reading her mind and you know what she's shooting for.

that's alright, though. you're there this time.

it barely hurts at first, really. compared to anything else you've felt, a gunshot wound is more like a bee sting than the sharp pain you would have expected. it's the shock, though, that gets you: you should know better than to look down at an injury, but you do, and there it is, a big dark stain around a hole in your side.

past that, things get a little hazy.

you find yourself on the ground, so you guess you dropped at some point. jinx's drawings on the stone columns fade in and out of your peripherals, sometimes to black, sometimes blocked out by blue blurs. your most clear sense is smell: you know you smell iron.

"vi, come on, darling, don't- just stay awake. i need you to-"

"violet, please-"

someone is pressing hard on your side and your side is starting to burn and someone else is stroking your face and their hand is cold, and you're not sure exactly who is doing what. everyone is crying except you. you can't find a reason to cry.

you were there this time. it's not redemption- you cannot take back the past- but as your eyelids start to close, as your hearing fades out, you find it feels close enough for comfort.

Fortune Amidst Misfortune. my stringbean. big into lizards, if you couldn’t tell. I gave him a major facelift when downpour came out, but ive had him for years lol

Fortune is a rude-ass introvert, and is totally engrossed in his genetic experiments. If asked, he’d tell you that he thinks the local wildlife are ugly beasts, but he’s secretly a huge softy for ‘em and everyone can tell. He would watch the lil babies grow up through the overseers and just be so proud.

Eventually just watching was no longer enough, so he gave his puppet a big revamp, as seen above. lizard-taur-terator? Except he only has minimal knowledge of robo-body building, so it kinda sucks. Lots of little errors that start adding up, which means lots of maintenance, so that big socket in the back is for plugging himself back in occasionally (and it also functions as a weak spot :) ). And he did have to make some concessions when deciding to separate himself from his umbilical. He doesn’t have access to his extremely competent problem solving processes or the entire history of the world, among other things? But he does bring along his lucky 8 neurons. that’s probably enough i guess? Surely nothing bad will happen.

But hey, at least he can pet the animals now! He once raised an entire pack of genetically modified yellow lizards (in the name of science). After they passed, he decided (foolishly) to hybridize lizard and slugcat (again, in the name of science). The little beast continues to haunt him to this day, eating his brain cells and chewing through his wires, refusing to be trained unless there’s a reward in it for her. He named her Nips at Neurons, after the first thing she did when she escaped for the first time. He adores her.

my tmagp alice and sam designs!! they are the silliest guys!! ive not used procreate (im a clip studio boy) for actual months and i get art block every other week so it took A LOT for me to even churn this out (and im already feeling iffy about it..) but its HERE and theyre QUEER

on that note, PLEASE GIVE ME TMA/TMAGP IDEAS AND I MIGHT DRAW THEM TO GET OUT OF ART BLOCK (and hopefully also post full designs for the tmagp chars)
